701 Recruitment is seeking an experienced GPS Excavator Operator to join the team on a Wind Farm project in Georgetown, South Australia. Working on a major civil earthworks project, you'll play a key role in trimming haul roads, completing drainage works and assisting with bulk earthworks.

• $48.00 per hour + penalties & allowances
• 11 days on / 3 days off roster
• ASAP start
• 2+ months of work
• DIDO position - accommodation can be provided if required

Your Duties:

• Operating GPS-equipped excavators - Trimming haul roads to final levels 
• Bulk earthworks and site preparation
• Excavation and installation of civil drainage
• Assisting with general civil construction duties as required
• Conducting daily pre-starts and maintaining equipment
• Working safely and efficiently within a civil construction team

About You:

• Proven experience operating GPS Excavators on civil infrastructure or bulk earthworks projects
• Strong drainage experience is essential
• Experience trimming haul roads and working to final levels
• Experience using GPS machine guidance systems (Topcon, Trimble, Leica or similar)
• Current Excavator RII/Statement of Attainment
• Construction White Card
• Current Driver's Licence
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Able to commit to an 11 days on, 3 days off roster
