Kiln Operator – Narangba, QLD

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Kiln Operator to join our timber mill team based in Narangba. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is technically minded and enjoys hands-on, team-based work in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks (Forklift Licence desirable – training available for the right applicant).
• Monitor and control kiln operations, to dry wood to a specific moisture level, making it stable/ durable 
• Ensure optimal performance and record keeping 
• Assist with general maintenance and equipment care.
• Work collaboratively with other team members across shifts.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience in boiler or kiln operation is advantageous but not essential.
• Mechanically and technically minded individuals are encouraged to apply.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.

Work Schedule:

• 5 day work week on a 3-shift rotating roster, including nights and weekends as required.
