Our client, a specialist in rock retaining walls and earthmoving projects, is looking for experienced Rock Wall Builders to join their team on the Sunshine Coast. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality retaining wall projects across SE QLD — from Gympie through to Northern Brisbane.

The Role As a Rock Wall Builder, you will be able to:

• Read and interpret plans/drawings to build retaining walls (stone, sandstone, bushrock, J block, boulderstone & concrete sleeper)
• Measure and mark out areas for precise placement
• Operate machinery and tools, including excavators, jackhammers, and power tools
• Collaborate with project managers, landscapers, and crews to deliver on time and to spec
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant job site
• Communicate with clients in a professional manner

About You You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
✔ 3+ years’ hands-on experience in retaining wall construction or civil construction
✔ Ability to read and interpret construction plans
✔ Skilled with a wide range of construction tools & equipment
✔ Strong problem-solving skills and safety-first mindset
✔ Great communication and teamwork abilities
✔ Flexibility to work across multiple sites in SE QLD
✔ (Bonus) RII Excavator & HR Licence
