The Opportunity   

Exciting contract opportunity for a Marketing professional with sports membership activation experience to join James Hardie at a pivotal moment in our journey. 
  
As Brand Activation Manager, you will be responsible for the development and execution of brand activities and events to positively drive brand awareness, engagement and sales for James Hardie across all key stakeholders. This includes the opportunity to positively make strides with our newly reinstated partnership with the Parramatta Eels!

What you’ll do

• Lead the execution of our sports sponsorship program with the Eels — execute the strategy, help plan and deliver brand activations, branding on LED and field signage, corporate hospitality, ticketing, digital engagement and more
• Keep our major brand campaign on track—facilitate meetings, manage timelines, track deliverables, and keep Smartsheet and our Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform up to date.
• Work closely with agencies, partners, influencers, and internal teams to ensure every touchpoint is on-brand, on-strategy, and on time.
• Use insights from homeowners, builders, architects, and designers to create activations that drive awareness and product specification.
• Manage relationships with key industry bodies and ensure timely delivery of marketing assets, collateral, and merchandise for their events and channels.
• Track KPIs, monitor market trends and competitor activity, and share insights to continuously improve our marketing efforts.
• Support the Brand Manager in executing product orders for key customers—ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a seamless experience (Salesforce experience a plus!).

What you’ll bring

• A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of marketing experience, including 2+ years in sports sponsorship or brand activation.
• Proven ability to lead insight-led campaigns that deliver results—on time and on budget.
• A passion for design, architecture, and the homeowner journey.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, adaptable mindset and a love for fast-paced environments.
