The Opportunity   
  
Reporting to the EHS Assurance Manager, you will be responsible in creating and supporting EHS reporting capability across the APAC region and maximise opportunities to champion the benefits of reporting at all levels.
  
You will support, advise and collaborate with the Global and Regional EHS Teams, Management and Plant Leadership Teams and Operators to drive a consistent approach while improving EHS reporting.
  
Please note that this is a 6-month fixed term contract. And role can be based in any of our sites in Sydney or Brisbane.
  
What you’ll do

• Consolidate, prepare and maintain reporting data for the Weekly and Monthly EHS Scorecard, Working Hours Report and Monthly Environmental Scorecard (including health silica personal monitoring) for APAC.
• Develop and/or deliver the Zero Harm Weekly and Monthly reports, and Flash, Manhours, and ad-hoc EHS reports.
• Validate data, produce analysis and add commentary on EHS reports.
• Identify priorities within the EHS-APAC Strategic Plan and track performance, reporting on the initiatives that flow on from the strategic plan
• Lead and conduct regular data cleansing for continuous improvement of EHS reporting systems
• Maintain EHS assurance and compliance registers
• Understand the business and extract data accurately to develop, analyse and deliver EHS reports as required.
• Support onsite environment, health and safety assurance activities in collaboration with Global, Regional and Plant EHS teams.
• Integrate systems for reporting, and facilitate end-to-end communication, including allocation and renewal of contracts.
• Identify continual improvement opportunities in the APAC and Global EHS data management and reporting.
• Support the Regional EHS team on APAC Weekly Zero Harm Call presentation, L4 meetings, and Purchase Orders management.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders on different reporting requirements to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with the Regional EHS team to drive consistent Zero Harm Safe systems, safe places and safe people.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field is highly regarded
• Advanced experience working with MS Office Excel and PowerPoint
• Exposure to cloud based operating systems
• Intermediate knowledge of SAP or other reporting data systems is preferred
• Understanding of EHS Management Systems, technology and tools
• Exposure to and understanding of a broad range of relevant technical methodologies and practices
• Previous experience in admin work and in presenting reports to stakeholders.
• Capturing and maintaining EHS knowledge / information via SharePoint or similar technology
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skill
• Stakeholder management ability, strong influencing skills across all levels of the organisation
