The Opportunity   

James Harie has 2 x 6-month contract opportunities available for experienced Accounts Payable Officers with experience in SAP to join our team based in Sydney CBD. 
  
In this role, you will be responsible for processing and paying supplier invoices and accounts in an accurate and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Data entry of creditor invoices, match invoices to purchase orders and analysing PO errors when required
• GRIR actions and comments
• Payment runs when required
• Follow up business for action on parked report
• Critical freight processing and statement reconciliations
• Manage Payables Shared Mailbox allocations
• Carry out Monthly Creditor Statement reconciliations for Vendors
• Respond to AP Internal /External Enquiries and manage escalation issues
• Drive continuous improvement in the P2P process and implement efficiencies
• Drive compliance to policy and adherence to process
• Provide P2P support, training and technical expertise to AP team and ANZ business for Purchase to Pay
• Ad-hoc duties as required

About You:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable, with high level of competency in processing
• SAP experience is essential
• Demonstrated ability to process between 100-150 invoices daily
• Proactive and excellent communicator who will not hesitate to pick up the phone to call stakeholders, build rapport and in turn execute on AP objectives
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Ability to pivot and adapt to a fast-paced environment and remain steadfastly outcome focussed
