Are you an early‑career Electronics or RF Engineer looking to build strong fundamentals, work across a full product range, and progress within a leading satellite communications manufacturer?
We’re supporting a major engineering organisation in Hereford as they expand their Test Engineering teams across both core product testing and customer‑specific high‑power RF systems. These roles are ideal for graduates with hands‑on experience, HND/HNC engineers, or early‑career RF/Electronics professionals looking for long‑term development and exposure to advanced RF technology.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for testing, validating, and troubleshooting RF and electronic systems, ensuring products meet performance, quality, and reliability standards. Working closely with design, production, and wider engineering teams, you’ll follow test procedures, document results, and support continuous improvement across the test environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform RF and electronic testing using spectrum analysers, network analysers, and signal generators.
- Troubleshoot RF and electronic components alongside design engineers.
- Follow structured test procedures and document findings clearly.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
- Ensure products meet industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Support continuous improvement of test processes and methodologies.
- Contribute to a collaborative engineering environment with clear communication and teamwork.
What We’re Looking For
- HND/HNC/Degree in Electronics, RF, Systems Engineering or related discipline.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow structured test documentation.
- Hands‑on experience with electronic test equipment.
- Strong communication skills and a practical, problem‑solving mindset.
- Interest in developing RF fundamentals and exploring the full product range.
- Full UK driving licence (day‑shift manufacturing test role).
