What You’ll Do
As an Applications Engineer, you’ll play a key role in managing product portfolios and supporting customers worldwide. You’ll be the go-to expert for specific product lines, ensuring that every customer interaction exceeds expectations. Here’s a glimpse of what your role will involve:
- Providing exceptional technical support and expertise for an innovative product portfolio.
- Keeping product data accurate, relevant, and up to date to ensure functionality and customer satisfaction.
- Driving product improvements and managing products throughout their lifecycle.
- Creating marketing, sales, and support materials that wow customers.
- Representing the company at global exhibitions, workshops, and trade shows—delivering technical presentations and building strong customer relationships.
- Offering engaging product training and guidance to clients and internal teams, both online and in person.
- Analysing data to provide valuable insights to product, engineering, and project teams.
- Occasional travelling internationally to support distributors and customers
What We’re Looking For We’re searching for someone who brings both technical expertise and a customer-focused mindset. Ideally, you’ll have:
- A HND, degree, or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience in product lifecycle management or first/second-line product support (preferred, but not essential).
- A background in test and measurement devices (a bonus, but not required).
- A detail-oriented approach with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
- Solid IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
