The Opportunity:
Due to internal growth, we have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced DC Operations Supervisor to join our high performing team based near Auckland Airport. You will be responsible for day-to-day supervision of the DC Team and processes.
About the position:
One of your primary objectives of this role is to supervise and facilitate daily operations of the DC Team, ensuring daily operations run efficiently and effectively. This will include leading the continuous attention to Safety by everyone on site, effective people management, inventory control and the management of operational systems and material processes within the DC.
Some key responsibilities will include:
- Lead a culture of Zero Harm
- Delivery of regular safety talks
- Be a System Super User
- Capture and communicate results related to KPIs of the DC’s
- Maintain stock integrity
- Challenge status quo to enable productivity and efficiency improvements
- Participate in various projects that will align business procedures and efficiency requirements from implementation, administration, management and completion
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in DC Leadership and Operations. You will provide visible, values-based, leadership and role modelling to the team. You will be able to mentor and develop your team members.
You will also have:
- At least 4+ years’ experience in DC Leadership and Operations
- MPI Transitional Facility Certificate
- Operational analysis and reporting capability
- Proven leadership experience
- The ability to motivate your team to achieve targets and address any performance concerns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A professional manner, with a strong worth ethic and alignment with our values
- A high level of safety awareness
- A Supply Chain qualification would be highly desirable
