Your New Role

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor and based at our Dandenong South branch, we are seeking a Trade Assistant / General Hand / Warehouse Assistant who is a strong team player with a customer-centric attitude to support branch hire activities in the hire yard.
  
Duties Include (but are not limited to)

• Prepare, clean, and pack hire buildings and ancillary equipment to required standards
•  Process paperwork for the installation and return of hire asset
• Conduct stock takes of assets as required
• Respond to customer service requests promptly and professionally
• Prepare hire buildings for transit and delivery
• Unpack, test, and clean ancillary equipment returned from hire

  
What You Will Bring to the Role

• Trade qualification (Carpenter, Sheetmetal Worker, or similar)
•  Test and Tag licence (highly desirable)
• Building maintenance and repair experience
• Forklift licence, including large forklift operation
•  Current Driver’s Licence and White Card
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail with solid numerical skills
• A team player who can also work independently
