Your new role

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor and based at our Gladstone Branch, we are looking for a Trade Assistant, General Hand, Building Maintenance, who is a good team player with a customer centric attitude to join our team and support branch hire activities in the hire yard.
  
Duties include but are not limited to

• Operate large forklifts to load and unload materials and buildings
• Prepare, clean, and pack hire buildings to required standards
• Process paperwork for installation and return of hire assets
• Conduct stocktakes of assets as required
• Handle customer service requests promptly and professionally
• Prepare hire buildings for transit and delivery
• Unpack, test, and clean ancillary equipment returned from hire.

What you will bring to the role

• Building maintenance & repair experience
• Forklift license & large forklift operation
• Open Driver’s License & White Card
• Strong customer service, communication & interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with solid numeric skills
• Team player with ability to work independently
