About the Role:

The role focuses on ensuring hire fleet assets are maintained, prepared, and returned to high standards, consistently exceeding customer expectations. Ideal for a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments, priorities safety and quality, and enjoys motivating teams to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and motivate a small team to achieve operational goals
• Ensure all hire fleet assets are prepared, repaired, and maintained to meet customer and company standards
• Oversee safe transport preparation and compliance with all safety requirements
• Manage asset documentation, stocktakes, and administration of asset management systems
• Identify, coordinate, and carry out repairs, retrofits, and quality checks
• Plan and allocate resources to meet business deliverables efficiently
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork
• Support customer satisfaction through accurate, timely, and cost-effective service delivery

About You:

• Current Driver’s Licence and Forklift (High Risk) Licence (essential)
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing small teams
• Experience in the lean manufacturing industry
• Proven ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver results under tight deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate staff
• Practical skills with hand tools and ability to perform maintenance tasks
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Preferred experience in modular building, construction, or resource industries
