About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of our modular Construction and Installation projects. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with site supervisors, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining project controls, including standards, policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, to mitigate risks and promote safe work practices on site.
You’ll lead, mentor, and support the Project Delivery and Installation teams throughout all phases of the project lifecycle—from estimation to final delivery. Your team will include an estimator, administration officer, site supervisor, carpenter, two apprentices, and a network of subcontractors for remote work.
Your leadership will be critical in driving strategic direction, operational efficiency, delivering high-quality outcomes, and fostering team development and growth with a culture of excellence in customer service.
About You: You’re a confident and capable Project Manager with a strong background in the construction industry. You bring a proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of contract administration and technical documentation
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Effective time management and project planning abilities
- Demonstrated experience in cost control, pricing, and scheduling
- Commercial acumen and strong risk management capabilities
- Experience in modular building/manufacturing is advantageous but not essential
- Onsite construction experience, a trade background is preferable.
- Experience with MS project.
- Manage CRM, Customer Relationship Management tool, for installation work – to understand win/loss ratios and develop strategies
Essential Qualifications/Licenses:
- Certificate IV in Building & Construction / Project Management or equivalent
- White Card
- Open Driver’s License
- First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain/maintain)
