General Maintenance Leading Hand – Hire Yard
Location: Kalgoorlie, WA
Salary: $54.55 per hour (inclusive of allowances) + 12% Super + Company Benefits
Work Type: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role:
We’re currently seeking a Leading Hand, preferably with a Carpentry trade background or handyperson/general maintenance experience to join our team.
Ensuring the smooth operation of the yard, maintenance of modular buildings, and providing support for hire logistics, you will:
Perform basic repair and maintenance work
Clean and pack buildings to hire standards and prepare for transit
Process paperwork
Perform monthly stocktakes and assist with inventory checks
Unpack, check and clean modular units when returned from hire
Operate forklifts to load / unload materials and buildings
Lead and coach a small team
Keep the yard tidy and ensure safe storage of equipment
About You:
Experience in the modular buildings/construction industry preferred but not essential
Trade background (Carpentry) or general maintenance/handyperson experience
An understanding of transport/logistics coordination
Previous experience or demonstrated ability to lead a small team
