We’re seeking a skilled Operations Manager to lead a dynamic site, overseeing both strategic and day-to-day operations. This hands-on role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about driving performance, safety, and continuous improvement.
About the Role
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will take full operational responsibility for the site. You’ll oversee all aspects of operations, maintenance, and refurbishment, ensuring the site delivers on schedule, within budget, and to the required standard.
You’ll also work closely with the Sales Manager and Production Planner to embed planning discipline, improve output quality, and lift overall operational performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of technicians, supervisors, administrators, and contractors.
- Ensuring delivery of scheduled units per day meets internal quality, safety, and customer standards.
- Improving structure and consistency across daily stand-ups, shift handovers, and production meetings.
- Taking full operational responsibility for safety, fleet availability, service calls, logistics, and site effectiveness.
- Driving accountability for safety performance through visible leadership.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement across quality, cost, service, and planning practices.
This is a broad and hands-on leadership role that blends people, process, logistics, and planning.
What You’ll Bring We’re looking for an experienced operational leader with a practical mindset and the ability to work both on the floor and at a strategic level.
You’ll likely bring:
- 5+ years of experience in operations or production management within industrial manufacturing or a related industry.
- A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and structure.
- Clear communication skills and a natural ability to engage and lead from the front.
- Strong experience in driving key operational outcomes with a safety-first mindset.
