About the Role
As a Village Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our Stayover Village, overseeing on-site operations and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. You’ll lead service partners, manage compliance, maintain high-quality accommodation standards, and uphold a safe, clean, and welcoming village environment. Your leadership will shape the day-to-day life for residents and drive strategic improvements in service delivery and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day village operations, including accommodation, maintenance, housekeeping, and grounds.
- Lead and manage contractors, service providers, and subcontractors to deliver exceptional village services.
- Ensure compliance with Stayover policies, HACCP food safety standards, and site HSE regulations.
- Respond to emergencies and guest needs during rostered on-call hours.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, resolve complaints, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage budgets, local marketing, supplies, and procurement for maximum village profitability.
- Support community integration and promote local engagement through events and initiatives.
What You Bring - 3+ years of leadership/management experience, ideally in hospitality, facilities, or remote workforce accommodation.
- Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Business, Hospitality, or similar.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, with the confidence to manage stakeholders at all levels.
- High attention to detail, excellent time management, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- A proactive and customer-focused attitude, aligned with our company values.
- Ability to work a FIFO roster 2 weeks on and 1 week off
Desirable Skills - Experience in hotel or remote accommodation management.
- Knowledge of contract management and the resources sector.
- Exposure to project or facility management.
