Your new role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Stores Supervisor to manage stores and inventory operations across the nominated region. In this role, you’ll work closely with both regional and national procurement teams to ensure the timely and accurate supply of materials to our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies
- Lead the stores team with supervision, task allocation, and pre-start meetings
- Coordinate team activities and manage priorities to support production and projects
- Oversee inventory control across stores, including stock, consumables, and fasteners
- Use ERP/MRP tools to manage reorder points, safety stock, and forecast requirements
- Manage goods receipting, delivery inspections, label printing, and material issuing
- Handle ordering and tracking of stock, consumables, and fasteners, logging usage
- Review backwards material lists against drawings to ensure accurate kitting
- Lead stock takes and support with cycle counts, and accuracy as required.
- Identify and implement cost savings, standardisation, and visual improvements
Skills, Qualifications & Experience - 5+ years’ experience in stores, warehousing, or materials coordination, with demonstrated team leadership in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using ERP systems (e.g., Navision, SAP) and strong computer literacy
- Proven ability to challenge team members to lift performance and achieve goals
- Ability to read and interpret technical or structural drawings
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
- Demonstrated focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Experience in modular or off-site construction (advantageous but not essential)
- Ability to manage, delegate and drive team performance
