The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team in Newcastle. In this role, you will focus on expanding our hire business within the construction, commercial, and industrial sectors, primarily targeting new business acquisition.
Your role
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction, industrial, and mining sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive business growth.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Ausco Modular's products and services to effectively meet client needs.
- Achieve sales targets by proactively generating leads and closing deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Provide mentorship and support to the broader sales team to enhance overall performance.
- Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote Ausco Modular's offerings.
About You You are a seasoned B2B sales professional with over 3–5 years of experience, excelling in cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships within the construction, industrial, and mining sectors. Your approach combines strategic planning with a hunter mentality, consistently identifying and securing new market opportunities to drive revenue growth.
Preferred Requirements: - Proven track record in business development, sales, and account management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, demonstrating a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions.
- Adaptability and a willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
- Familiarity with the construction and real estate industry, providing valuable insights and expertise to our clients.
