The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team in Perth, WA. In this role, you will focus on expanding our hire business within the construction, commercial, and industrial sectors, primarily targeting new business acquisition.

Your role

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction, industrial, and mining sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive business growth.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Ausco Modular's products and services to effectively meet client needs.
• Achieve sales targets by proactively generating leads and closing deals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Provide mentorship and support to the broader sales team to enhance overall performance.
• Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
• Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote Ausco Modular's offerings.

  
  
About you

You are a seasoned B2B sales professional with over 3–5 years of experience, excelling in cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships within the construction, industrial, and mining sectors. Your approach combines strategic planning with a hunter mentality, consistently identifying and securing new market opportunities to drive revenue growth.

• A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong background in sales or related fields such as construction, industrial, or mining sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain long-lasting client relationships.
• Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in accurate reporting.
• Self-starters with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Maintain and update client relationships using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), adhering to call planning requirements.
• Exhibit proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, demonstrating strong computer literacy.
