Your new role:
Multiple opportunities available for experienced General Hands to join the team at Riverview. Immediate start and great rates! Daily you will be involved in the construction of our modular building solutions across multiple sectors including mining, construction, commercial, education, government and sports and recreation. As part of the role your key responsibilities will include:
- Fostering a positive safety culture and living our business values – SAFE (Safe, Agility, Fairness & Excellence)
- Ensuring that work is completed to required industry and business quality standards
- Ensuring that work is completed within scheduled timeframes and ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines.
- Reading and interpret technical drawings and building plans specific to construction
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently within strict timelines.
- Ability to work with prefabricated materials and modular construction components, with experience utilizing hand and power tools.
About you:
We are looking to hear from General Hands that have with strong safety focus and keen eye for detail. Some desired skills and experience Include the below:
- Experience in roofing systems, including metal and other prefabricated materials.
- Ability to work with various roofing systems (e.g., pitched, flat roofs).
- Experience with structural framing and cladding installation using colourbond cladding and matrix cladding.
- Proven experience in carpentry, including assembly of pre-hung doors, mortise locks, fitment of windows and skirting and architraves.
- A good mechanical aptitude, great interpersonal skills and a solid team player
