We are looking for an HR Generalist with at least two years' experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building trusted relationships. Cultural fit is important to us, so you'll bring a proactive, can-do approach, strong judgement and a genuine passion for supporting people and helping our teams thrive.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring: - Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach, with strong time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confidence and the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies
- A relevant HR qualification and/or demonstrated experience in a similar People & Culture or Human Resources role
- Sound judgement and a high level of discretion when handling confidential information
- Experience working in an HR role within a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of New Zealand employment legislation and HR best practice
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively, taking ownership while knowing when to seek support
If you're looking for a role where your ideas are valued, your contribution makes a genuine difference and you can take ownership of meaningful work, we'd love to hear from you. At BDO Wellington, you will have the opportunity to help shape the future of our people while working alongside a supportive and highly engaged team that genuinely believes people are our greatest asset.
