About the role
As a Senior Accountant in our Business Advisory team, you'll work closely with a broad portfolio of clients, helping them make informed business decisions and achieve their financial goals. You'll provide accounting, tax and business advisory services while building strong relationships and becoming a trusted advisor to your clients.
This is a hands-on role offering exposure to financial reporting, management accounting, tax advisory, budgeting and cashflow forecasting, business planning and client advisory. You'll also have the opportunity to support and mentor junior team members while working closely with Managers and Partners on more complex client matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Deliver management reporting, budgeting, cashflow forecasting and business performance analysis
- Prepare tax returns and identify tax planning and restructuring opportunities
- Provide practical business advice that supports clients' growth and strategic objectives
- Manage client engagements, monitor job progress and maintain strong client relationships
- Assist with trust matters, Companies Office requirements and accounting software implementations
- Support and mentor junior team members through coaching and knowledge sharing
Experience
We're looking for a motivated and commercially minded accounting professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and contribute to a high-performing team.
You will bring:
- 3–4+ years' experience within Business Advisory Services in a CA environment
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- CAANZ or ACCA qualification (or nearing completion)
- Strong experience preparing financial statements, tax returns and management reports
- Exposure to Xero, MYOB and cloud-based accounting systems
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong written and oral skills in both English and Mandarin
