The role
You will support a high-quality team by using your technical ability to review work from our BAS team as well as prepare more of the complex accounts yourself. You will prepare and review IFRS accounts.

As a client-focused Senior Accountant, you will work within a shared workflow model to deliver high-quality compliance and advisory services to a varied client portfolio. You will help clients understand key business issues, identify opportunities, develop practical plans and support sustainable business growth. You will work closely with clients on business strategy, forecasting and reporting.

 
About you

• A qualified CA with 5 + years' experience in a BAS or similar role
• Minimum 1 year experience in a reputable NZ Accounting firm
• Comfortable mentoring, guiding and supporting other team members
• Curious, driven to learn and committed to developing your career
• Confident taking ownership of client work
• Commercially aware with strong communication skills
• Methodical, detail-oriented, professional, confidential and approachable
• Able to work well under pressure, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• You must have current NZ work rights. 
• Applicants must be willing to undertake and pass relevant employment testing including criminal and credit checks
