About Business Advisory Services
Our Business Advisory team works closely with clients at every stage of their business life cycle. We go beyond the numbers to provide insights, guidance, and solutions that help businesses grow, adapt, and succeed.
Success in BAS at BDO means combining strong technical capability with excellent communication, commercial thinking, and the ability to build trusted client relationships.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage and oversee a portfolio of clients, working closely with Partners
- Take responsibility for the delivery of high‑quality final outputs
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to senior, intermediate, and graduate staff
- Review complex accounting and advisory work, providing guidance and solutions
- Contribute to advisory projects, financial modelling and special engagements
- Play an active role in business development and client meetings
- Support recruitment, coaching, and performance development of your team
What you’ll bring - CA or CPA qualified
- An experienced people leader with strong coaching and mentoring skills
- Confident managing client relationships and engaging with business owners
- Technically strong with solid accounting and advisory experience
- Commercially minded, proactive, and solutions focused
- Comfortable balancing deadlines while maintaining quality and client service
- Experienced in navigating tax matters as part of broader advisory solutions
- Confident applying IFRS knowledge across a range of advisory and reporting work
