The Opportunity
As a Senior / Assistant Manager in our well-established Tax Practice, you’ll play a key role in:

• Building trusted, long-term client relationships
• Advising a diverse client base, including:
• High-net-worth individuals
• Privately owned businesses
• Large and publicly listed entities (NZ & offshore tax matters)
• Providing practical, commercial tax advice across compliance and consulting
• Reviewing work, managing workflow and coaching and developing junior team members
• Contributing to a collaborative, supportive team culture

This role is flexible by design and we’re open to shaping hours, contract type and scope to suit the right person.
  
About You

• Senior-level tax experience (or above) with strong NZ tax knowledge
• Experience in a CA environment (ideally 3-4+ years)
• CA qualification (completed or in progress) and/or legal background
• Confidence interpreting legislation and managing corporate tax compliance
• Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills
• A hands-on, team-focused approach, comfortable doing the work and leading others
• Motivation to grow with a successful, values-driven Wellington firm

Specialist tax experience is welcome - and if you’re keen to broaden your skill set, we’ll support that too.
