The Role
As part of our team, you'll be welcomed into a friendly, family-like environment where you’ll get to know a diverse group of clients and help them with their financial needs. You’ll provide effective and dependable service in areas like financial accounting, business advisory, and management accounting, all while being an integral part of our close-knit team.

What You'll Do

• Prepare monthly profit & loss and balance sheet reports
• Prepare income tax, GST, and FBT returns
• Assist with monthly, year-end, and statutory accounts
• Prepare cash flows, forecasts, and budgets
• Identify and discuss accounting issues with managers
• Build and maintain positive client relationships

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a minimum of 3 years' practical accounting experience.
• Two years' experience preparing financial accounts in New Zealand (public practice experience a plus)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and systems
• Experience with Xero essential and FYI advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
