Lead the future of AI at BDO NZ.

We're looking for a strategic, people-focused AI Programme Manager to lead the identification, trial, and implementation of AI solutions across our national network. This newly created role is your opportunity to shape how we use AI to deliver client value, improve internal efficiencies, and build capability across our teams.

12 month FTC with potential for permanent opportunities. 

What you'll be doing

• Partnering with service lines and member firms to identify and deliver AI-driven solutions.
• Leading the design, trial, and implementation of AI tools and initiatives.
• Championing a culture of innovation and experimentation across the network.
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
• Facilitating workshops, discovery sessions, and feedback loops.
• Developing and delivering national training to build AI literacy and confidence.
• Sharing success stories and lessons learned to inspire ongoing innovation.
• Travelling regularly to connect with teams across the country and be the face of our AI programme.

What you'll bring

• Proven experience leading AI or digital transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, trends, and practical applications.
• 5+ years' experience in technology risk, innovation, or a related field.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Confidence presenting to a range of audiences, from staff to executives.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work independently.
• A passion for capability-building and enabling others to succeed.
