An exciting opportunity to join BDO Wellington as a Full-Time, Permanent Tax Consultant within its Tax Practice.

The role:
As a Tax Consultant within the well-established Tax Practice, you will be provided with a challenging and rewarding career. You will be exposed to a variety of client work and client contact right away - the opportunity to learn and develop is in your hands!
You will be providing tax compliance and consulting services to a range of clients from high-net-worth individuals through to publicly listed entities. The clients and their requirements are varied, so no two days will be the same.
About you:
To be successful in this exciting role you will ideally have 2-3 years of NZ tax experience, preferably in a Mid-Tier or larger accounting firm. The broader your tax knowledge the quicker you will settle. However, if you are an expert in a specialised tax area but are willing to expand your knowledge, this could be an excellent next step for you.
Your written and oral communication skills will be exceptional, and you are able to quickly build rapport and gain respect from others.
Your aspiration and drive to be part of a successful and growing business is required. You will be happy to roll your sleeves up and do the work or delegate work to others.
