Senior Project Manager | Private Apartment Developer | Melbourne

The Company:
This Melbourne-based apartment developer is known for its considered approach to design, quality and long-term value creation. With a strong pipeline of acquired sites across inner Melbourne, the business is entering a focused delivery phase and is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to play a key role in translating vision into built form.

Working closely with the Director and key joint venture partners, this role sits at the heart of the development process. The Opportunity:
This role is suited to an accomplished Project Manager who thrives in the project management phase of development, from feasibility and acquisition through to design management, planning, delivery and defects.

You will take ownership of projects early, managing consultants, navigating planning processes, and ensuring that design intent, commercial objectives and delivery realities remain aligned throughout the lifecycle.

Importantly, this role requires someone who can drive outcomes while maintaining strong relationships, bring a backbone to decision-making, and communicate clearly and directly with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Leading projects from feasibility and design through to construction commencement and delivery
• Managing feasibility studies, risk assessments and due diligence processes
• Overseeing design development and consultant coordination
• Navigating town planning processes and stakeholder negotiations
• Providing strategic input into project positioning, quality benchmarks and execution plans
• Working closely with the Director, joint venture partners and external consultants
• Ensuring projects are delivered in line with the agreed vision, quality and commercial outcomes

The Foundation for Success:

• Recent apartment delivery experience in Victoria
• Strong background in project management and front-end development
• Proven experience leading projects through feasibility, planning and design phases
• Commercial acumen with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Experience across high-end apartment or mixed-use developments
• Approximately 5 to 8 years of experience in property development or project management
• Tertiary qualifications in Property, Construction, Architecture
