DG (Dangerous Goods)/ TRUCK DRIVER
FIFO – 18 Days on 10 Days off (Horn) FIFO – 14 Days on 7 Days off (Seisia)
The successful applicant will be customer focused, friendly with a can-do attitude, must be hard working and be able to communicate effectively and efficiently within a team. The FIFO roster will be, flying out of Cairns.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensuring that cargo is received in an orderly manner
Ensuring safe delivery of all cargo
Accurate and timely completion of all freight documentation
Logistics experience desirable
The following skills and experience is required:
Demonstrated experience in cargo receiving and dispatching
Clear and legible handwriting
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety principles
Must be hard working and flexible for last minute changes
Must have a positive can-do attitude and work well within a team
High Risk Forklift licence
Heavy Combination truck licence - manual gearbox
Dangerous Goods licence
Side loader and fuel experience preferred but not essential
