Sea Swift is Northern Australia's largest shipping company, delivering essential marine transport and logistics services to remote communities across the region.
Reporting to the Head of Project Management Office, this role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation, administration and maintenance of critical business systems while driving technology improvements that support operational excellence and business growth.
In the role you will be asked to: ·
Manage the relationship with our Managed Service Provider and ensure contractual obligations and service levels are achieved.
Oversee the organisation's technology infrastructure, including networks, systems and services.
Monitor and manage IT performance, availability and service delivery.
Plan and implement new technologies and system enhancements.
Coordinate IT services including helpdesk and support functions.
Manage software licensing and ICT asset inventory.
Monitor and manage cyber security risks, vulnerabilities and security incidents across the technology environment.
Manage the annual ICT budget and expenditure.
Provide strategic advice on technology investments, risks and opportunities.
Develop and maintain ICT policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
Monitor emerging technologies and identify opportunities to strengthen business performance and competitive advantage.
Qualifications and experience
Five or more years' experience in IT management.
Strong technical knowledge across infrastructure, systems administration, networking and business applications.
Experience working with Managed Service Providers and outsourced technology partners, including vendor management, service performance oversight and service level management.
Proven ability to manage technology services as a business function, including budgeting, procurement, vendor management, governance and continuous improvement.
Demonstrated experience managing cyber security risks, controls and compliance obligations.
Strong business communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience developing business cases, project briefs, executive reports and technology recommendations that support informed decision-making and business outcomes.
