About The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Audit Semi-Senior looking to deepen their technical experience and gain exposure to more complex audits, with structured support towards qualification. You will be involved in all stages of the audit process, working closely with seniors and managers on-site and remotely, with the opportunity to take real ownership of sections of the file and client liaison. The firm will fully support your ACA or ACCA studies and provide ongoing mentoring as you progress.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing statutory audit assignments from start to finish
Undertake fieldwork, including testing financial controls and transactions
Prepare detailed audit documentation in line with UK auditing standards (ISAs)
Liaise directly with clients to obtain supporting information and resolve queries
Identify audit issues and raise these with the audit senior or manager
Assist in the preparation of financial statements under FRS 102
Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and colleagues
Actively engage with your training programme and support your ongoing development
About You
ACA or ACCA part-qualified (or AAT qualified and studying towards ACA/ACCA)
At least 2 years’ experience in audit within a UK accountancy firm
Confident working on-site and directly communicating with clients
Good technical knowledge of UK GAAP and audit principles
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities
Proactive and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in developing an audit career
A strong team player with excellent attention to detail
Package & Remuneration
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Study Support: Full support towards ACA or ACCA qualification
