The Company 
Our client is an Irish-owned subsidiary of a major player within the energy industry. The Irish business has a turnover of €200 million. The company is seeking to hire an experienced senior financial accountant.
 
The company has a state-of-the-art canteen, providing staff with complimentary breakfast and dinner. It operates a two-day-in-the-office hybrid model.
 
The Role:
This is a full-time position with a nine-month fixed-term contract with a probability of being made permanent.

• Lead and motivate trainee accountants.
• Work with the wider finance team to foster excellent relationship.
• Oversee day-to-day financial transactions.
• Demonstrate a compliance-orientated mindset.
• Ensure timely month-end closure with adequate controls and reconciliations
• Assist the CFO, Financial Controller, and FP&A team with annual budgeting, forecasting, and planning

• 7 +years’ experience.
• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified.
• Detailed-orientated individual who can demonstrate analytical thinking.
• Ability to work well with a team or independently.
• communication and negotiation skills.
