Corporate Finance Executive
This is a unique and diverse role for a commercially aware, newly qualified ACA. The ideal candidate would have a keen interest in the public markets and is looking to gain corporate finance, capital markets and investor relations experience as part of a high-profile, fast-growing company working across the public markets. The role is based in Raglan’s Dublin office and is best suited to someone who relishes the challenge of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
The Role:
General corporate finance support:
- Support in the evaluation and execution of a broad range of transactions including M&A, licensing deals etc.
- Project management support and co-ordination of due diligence processes
- Excellent financial analysis skills including the ability to critically assess and articulate the value drivers of a business
- Ad-hoc financial & strategic analysis of a varied nature to support strategic initiatives
Preparing high quality investor materials: - Lead on the production of comprehensive corporate presentations and a variety of other corporate documents
- Work with the team to draft regulatory news service (London Stock Exchange) updates and liaising with advisors on their release
- Input to IR materials and events including capital market presentations and investor roadshows
Managing investor / analyst network: - Coordinate investor & analyst meetings, conferences, and other events including corporate webcasts etc
- Help build Raglan’s respective IR programs to drive awareness of the Company amongst London Stock Exchange & North American investors
- Building effective relationships across the investor / analyst community
Providing insight & analysis to senior management: - Monitor capital market trends to provide insights to management
- Monitoring industry newsflow and research to identify new strategic targets and initiatives
- Prepare business cases and ad-hoc projects for review by management
Required Skills: - ACA qualified accountant
- Big 4 trained with advisory experience an advantage
- Knowledge / experience of the life science industry is an advantage but not required
- Strong commercial acumen and awareness combined with an interest in the capital markets
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills including preparing presentation decks etc
- Excellent prioritisation and time management skills
- Capacity to manage multiple projects and work streams effectively in a fast-paced environment to achieve goals
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
