We are currently looking for a Senior Manager/Bids Director to join our Hays team with preference to be based in our Hays Sydney CBD office or any of our eastern seaboard offices. This is a full time permanent opportunity with an immediate start.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing senior leadership and strategic direction of the bids function, accountable for the governance, quality and the delivery of complex, high value tenders and bids. You will also act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, leading bid strategy, shaping compelling value propositions and elevating bid capability.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of winning bid strategies to secure new business and drive growth.
- Leverage AI tools and technology to improve efficiency, innovation and bid performance.
- Manage the end to end bid lifecycle, ensuring high quality, compliant and compelling submissions.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to shape solutions, influence outcomes and align bid strategies with business objectives.
- Develop persuasive proposals, client presentations and sales decks that clearly articulate value.
- Lead and develop a high performing team while managing multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
What you'll need to succeed - Strong experience using AI tools to improve bid quality, efficiency and innovation.
- Ability to create compelling sales presentations, PowerPoint decks and client proposals.
- Strong project management skills, with experience leading complex bid projects, managing multiple priorities and delivering to tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to deliver winning bid outcomes and drive commercial success.
- Extensive experience leading bid strategies across recruitment, RPO, MSP and talent solutions.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
