Your new role
As a candidate focussed Recruitment Partner, you will be joining an industry-recognised and market-leading team within the Canberra and broader Federal Government Technology landscape. Operating in a mature, deeply networked market, you’ll inherit a warm, established portfolio of clients across both Public and Commercial sectors, providing an exceptional platform to drive growth from day one.
This role offers the opportunity to manage, nurture and expand an existing customer base, bringing renewed energy, operational excellence, and strategic direction to the desk. You’ll work closely with key internal stakeholders, aligning to broader business strategies while continuing to build market share across Cyber Security and Data domains.
What you'll need to succeed
Success in this role calls for a proven track record leading a high-performing technical or professional services desk, with consistent individual fee generation and demonstrated ability to grow a business.
You don’t need to be a deep technical specialist; however, you will have a strong working understanding of Cyber Security principles and Data/Analytics environments, and how they underpin modern Technology delivery across Federal Government organisations.
You will also bring:
- A sharp commercial mindset with strengths in business development, market mapping and strategic account growth
- The ability to build trusted, long-term relationships with both clients and candidates
- Confidence to operate at pace in a dynamic environment, maintaining composure and professionalism
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability for your desk, balanced with a collaborative approach to team success
- An ambitious, growth-oriented mindset, with a willingness to contribute to shared goals and support colleagues
