Our Hays Hobart office is seeking a full‑time Customer Support Administrator to join the team on a 9‑month parental leave cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative, supportive environment, with the role commencing immediately.
Your new role
- Manage a centralised ticketing system, including Hays CVs, compliance checks and references.
- Provide general office administration support, including responding to internal requests and reporting.
- Coordinate office operations, such as organising events, restocking supplies and overseeing office maintenance.
- Support day‑to‑day office needs, including PPE stock, coffee machine upkeep and liaising with service providers.
- Meet and greet candidates and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional office environment.
What you'll need to succeed - No prior experience required — full training will be provided
- Experience in customer service, retail or hospitality is advantageous, though not essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A friendly, confident and professional phone manner
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- A proactive, adaptable approach with strong problem‑solving skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
