Your new role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Accountant role to join our internal finance team located in Sydney CBD. This is a full-time permanent role commencing immediately.  
   
This role focuses on accounting function for Australia and New Zealand, including the preparation of management financial accounts and assistance with compliance.   
  
Key Responsibilities include: 

• Manage general ledger and perform monthly account reconciliations. 
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including reporting and analysis. 
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and ensure accurate journal entries. 
• Assist with preparation of statutory financial statements and audit support. 
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory reporting requirements (e.g. BAS, ABS). 
• Provide timely and professional support to internal and external stakeholders. 

What you'll need to succeed   

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. 
• Progressing towards CPA or CA qualification. 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. 
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. 
• A proactive mindset and willingness to learn and grow.
