Your new role
At Hays, we believe change should feel clear, purposeful, and empowering. That’s where you come in.
We’re looking for a confident and capable Change Manager to support key strategic and operational initiatives across our APAC business. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our people are supported through change —through clear communication, stakeholder engagement, and confident coaching of leaders at all levels.
This is a full time permanent role. You’ll be based in one of our Hays office located either in Adelaide, Melbourne or Sydney.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in change, looking to deepen their impact and grow their influence across a large, complex organisation.
Joining an experience change management team with a mature change practice, you’ll help shape how change is experienced—not just delivered. You’ll work alongside project teams and senior leaders to drive adoption, build capability, and ensure the success of initiatives through people-first change practices.
You’ll:
- Develop and execute change strategies that support smooth transitions and sustainable outcomes.
- Influence and coach leaders to be active, visible sponsors of change.
- Facilitate workshops and engagement sessions that build understanding and momentum.
- Create clear, compelling communications and presentations to support change narratives.
- Engage stakeholders at all levels to assess impact, manage resistance, and maintain alignment.
- Measure success through performance, adoption and engagement metrics—adapting where needed to ensure outcomes are realised.
What you'll need to succeed - At least 3 years’ experience in change management or a related field (e.g. project delivery, optimisation, or learning & development).
- Change accreditation (e.g. Prosci or similar) or relevant experience of applied change practice is essential.
- Confidence in coaching leaders and influencing decision-makers across the business.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills—you know how to bring clarity and inspire action for different audiences
- The ability to engage people at all levels with ease.
- A collaborative, proactive approach, and the ability to work effectively in remote or hybrid settings.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
