Due to ongoing growth in our team, we are seeking a Client Engagement Manager to join our established Technology business where you will work with clients nationally across Australia.
We have the flexibility for this role to be based in our Canberra, Sydney, or Melbourne offices.

Your new role
Joining Hays means you be part of a forward-thinking business that’s going places. Within an established business, you’ll be supported by experienced and invested leaders where you will be set up for success. As a Client Engagement Manager, you will be;
- Working with high calibre customers focusing on developing genuine long lasting relationships within the technology sector across the Australian market.
- Identifying new clients through lead generation, market mapping and business development
- Using the suite of cutting-edge systems available at Hays, to regularly analyse client and sales data to capitalise on opportunities with existing key accounts
- Engage and collaborate for networking events, building genuine connections with your colleagues across the wider Hays business
- Partner with our team of recruiters to ensure a successful recruitment process for both clients and candidates
What you'll need to succeed The right person for this role will be motivated to develop relationships and able to demonstrate a track record of operating within the local technology market. We know that you've got what it takes because you are:
- Energized and sales driven, with 3+ years in a recruitment or a technology sales role
- Committed and confident in business development with a track record of both quick wins through tactical sales and larger account wins through a long-term strategic approach
- Adept with presenting to clients, and an experienced negotiator who is and able to effectively consult with and manage client expectations
- Collaborative in your approach to build positive relationships within the Hays technology teams
- Solution focused, respectful and always looking to do the right thing for those your encounter
- Ambitious to think beyond to achieve improved solutions for clients, candidates and colleagues
