Your New Role
As Emposo expands in Australia and part of the Hays Group, the Pre Sales Lead will report to the Head of Emposo and have a national remit. This role is crucial in driving our business growth by collaborating with our sales team and providing technical expertise to our clients.
This is a full time permanent role based in our Melbourne CBD office.
As an expert in technical solutions and delivery frameworks, you will be client-driven, lead with a clear vision, and be known for your inclusive style. Your technical acumen and strategic thinking will be essential in designing solutions that meet our clients' needs and delivering compelling presentations that demonstrate our value proposition. This role focuses on selling services in the technology sector, with specialisms in solution architecture, data, cyber, and project delivery.
This role is critical to the success and reputation of Emposo. You will be hands-on while building and hiring key talent for client projects. This multi-faceted role requires travel across the Victoria region.
Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements and business goals.
- Conduct demonstrations and workshops with clients.
- Develop and present tailored solutions that address client challenges.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create winning strategies and develop solutions, including participation in full pre-sales activity.
- Provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process.
- Lead and provide expert-level guidance on technical solutions during the proposal lifecycle.
- Work across practice expertise to solidify proposal solutions such as PMO, Data, Digital, and/or workforce solutions.
- Provide coaching and support to the broader community.
- Contribute to and shape RFP responses.
What You'll Need to Succeed - Proven experience in a presales role, ideally in the technology sector.
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex systems, especially in one or more of the following areas: solution architecture, data, cyber, or projects.
- Digital transformation experience, including consulting and change services.
- Ability to identify challenges our clients face and assist with defining solutions.
- Client-focus with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Knowledgeable in project methodologies, such as Prince and Agile.
- Passion for innovation and staying updated with the latest industry trends.
- Experience working in a startup/scaleup or fast-growing company.
