Google Workspace Systems Administrator (L3) | Day Rate Contract | Sydney OR Melbourne CBD Hybrid - $900-1000 a day

The opportunity
Our client is a large household-name running Google Workspace as their primary collaboration and productivity platform. They need an experienced Google Workspace administrator for a 6 month contract on a competitive day rate. Hybrid working from the Sydney CBD or Melbourne CBD.
Where you fit
You'll be one of four primary SuperAdmins - it's a small, close-knit specialist team who specialise in Google Workspace.  You'll be assisting with L2&3 support and own escalations, platform configuration, and continuous improvement in a diverse and varied environment.
What L2/L3 looks like day to day

• Troubleshooting Gmail delivery issues
• Configuring Gmail security rules and settings
• Shared Drive creation and access
• Resolving access requests for files, shared drives and calendars
• Managing Google Groups, distribution lists, shared mailboxes and mail delegation
• Managing policies for Chrome browsers and Chrome devices
• Reviewing and resolving requests for third-party app access, mobile apps and extensions
• Creating and managing other Google admin accounts (eg for Servicedesk, Cyber teams)
• Identifying and actioning Security alerts and assisting with investigations and reports
• Running Vault searches and exports for HR and legal requests
• Raising and presenting Admin console changes through ServiceNow
• Tracking Workspace release notes and flagging changes that will affect users before rollout
• Regular collaboration with other technology teams (eg Cyber, Service Desk, EUC and Identity teams)

What you'll bring

• SuperAdmin experience in a medium to large Google Workspace environment, with strong knowledge of Google Admin console and ability to hit the ground running at a technical level
• Hands-on GAM experience for administration of Google Workspace
• Strong DNS, email security and deliverability troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Chrome and mobile device management in Workspace
• Medium to advanced functional knowledge of the core Workspace apps
• Strong security mindset and governance approach
• Clear communication with end users and other tech teams

Nice to have

• Apps Script or Python
• GCP exposure
• Microsoft Azure AD / Active Directory,  Exchange, or Windows file servers
• ITIL and ServiceNow experience
