About the Role
Candidates must have insurance product specialty knowledge in either property, construction or engineering and have rolled it out to a new market.

Duties / Key Responsibilities - Own and maintain the end to end Program Plan, aligning business requirements, functional design, and delivery timelines across the Change Portfolio
- Oversee integration of the Target Operating Model, working closely with the Operations Manager and underwriting, claims, and core functions to ensure products are operationally supportable at go-live
- Partner with the Program Sponsor and senior stakeholders across GSI, Great Lakes, and IT, maintaining a robust communications plan throughout the program lifecycle
- Design and own the program's governance framework, managing risks, issues, dependencies, and budget
- Lead and oversee Project Managers and Business Analysts, establishing effective delivery structures across geographically dispersed teams
Skills and Experience - Significant, demonstrable experience in Program Management, ideally within general insurance or reinsurance
- Specialist product knowledge across property, construction, and engineering insurance lines
- Strong understanding of the Australian insurance market, including relevant regulatory bodies and compliance requirements
- Proven experience partnering with Underwriting and Claims functions to shape operationally sound products
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders at Executive and Program Sponsor level
- Working knowledge of project methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches
- Experience delivering global change and transformation programs, ideally with exposure to the APAC region
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complexity
