About the Company
Our client is a private equity backed professional servicesbusiness with a significant presence across Australia. They're currently delivering a major HR systems transformation, modernising how core people data and processes operate across the business as they scale into the future.
About the Role
This is a broad, hands-on HR Business Analyst role within the HR systems transformation programme team, spanning both functional and technical sides of the build. Benefits
- Day rate contract - 14 months
- Hybrid working, three days in the Sydney CBD office
- Genuine breadth - exposure to the full build across functional, technical and data workstreams, not just one slice of it
- Opportunity to work on a large-scale, complex HR systems transformation from discovery through to testing and into 2027.
Duties / Key Responsibilities - Act as the bridge between the business and the system solution, working across both functional and technical sides of the build
- Participate in design workshops and build an end-to-end understanding of the solution as it develops
- Support data cleansing and validation, liaising directly with HR contacts to resolve data gaps, and contribute to the foundational data model for how people data flows across HR, finance and payroll
- Help build process maps and test scripts, and get hands-on with system testing
- Support data migration and cutover activities as required
Skills and Experience - BA experience gained on an HR/HCM systems implementation (Workday experience well regarded but not essential)
- Comfortable working across both the functional (business process) and technical (system/data) sides of a build
- Confident engaging directly with stakeholders across multiple business units, with a hands-on approach rather than purely documentation-based
- Ability to take a clear outcome and run with it autonomously
- Available to start quickly, ideally by early September
