Our client is a Sydney-based financial services technology business scaling its engineering capability through a significant platform investment.

About the Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will join a cross-functional squad alongside engineers, a product owner and a designer, owning features end to end across .NET and React on AWS.

Duties / Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship features across the full stack
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions
• Review code and lift engineering standards across the team
• Work directly with product and design on scope and sequencing
• Improve the reliability, performance and running cost of what is already live

Skills and Experience

• Experience building and maintaining production software commercially
• Strong full stack capability with depth in C#, .NET and React
• Hands-on AWS experience
• Sound grasp of system design, data modelling, automated testing and security fundamentals
• Financial services or other regulated environment exposure viewed favourably
• Experience working in an agile delivery model
• Practical use of AI-assisted development tools
• Comfortable landing in an existing codebase and contributing early
• Able to working in ambiguity
