Allura Partners is partnering with a fast-growing, multi-site business based in the heart of CBD, looking to bring on a Financial Accountant to support the finance function through a period of scale.
About the role
This Financial Accountant role reports directly to the Financial Controller and covers accounting across multiple entities. You'll get real exposure rather than sitting behind layers of process.

Duties/Key responsibilities

• Own the accounting for multiple entities
• Take ownership of month end close including journals, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Maintain general ledger integrity, support balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with consolidated reporting and management accounts
• Support tax compliance including BAS/IAS preparation, GST, and payroll tax obligations
• Assist with audit preparation, maintain strong documentation and workpapers, and liaise with external advisers where required
• Maintain accurate records across entities and support consolidated reporting
• Build relationships across the wider business

Skills and experience

• Big 4 or mid-tier background, first or second move from practice
• CA/CPA qualified or overseas equivalent 
• High attention to detail with the ability to improve processes
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder confidence
• Full working rights in Australia for the full 12 months
