About the company
This is an international healthcare group running a major finance transformation, replacing a legacy ERP with Oracle NetSuite across around 50 legal entities. The programme is delivered in phases and waves alongside an external NetSuite implementation partner. Integration is the layer that makes or breaks it, and that is the role on offer.
About the role
You will own the client side of every system integration into NetSuite across the programme, built on Dell Boomi. The first and most important build connects the patient management system (PMS) into NetSuite via Boomi, where the client owns one half of the integration and the implementation partner owns the other. Making that split ownership work in practice is the core of the job. It is as much about coordination and engagement across the two delivery teams as it is about the build itself. You will report to the programme's Project Manager and work closely with the partner's delivery team, the Solution Architect, and the data and testing leads.
Key responsibilities
- Own the PMS-to-Boomi integration build and its ongoing support, keeping it aligned with the partner's NetSuite-side work so the end-to-end flow behaves as one solution.
- Lead the selection and engagement of the Boomi System Integrator delivering the build.
- Act as the nominated integration contact across the client, the implementation partner, the SI and the source-system owners, keeping everyone aligned on scope and sequence.
- Manage extraction and connectivity against the legacy SQL Server source database.
- Confirm the integration treatment for additional source systems and payment file requirements as each phase is scoped.
- Maintain an integration architecture and risk register, escalating cost and scope exposure on the build as soon as estimates land.
- Own the integration build and support model for each subsequent entity and country wave.
- Define the integration governance and support model the business will own after implementation.
Who you are - You have led integrations on ERP or finance implementations before, and you have owned the client side of a build delivered with an external partner or SI. You know how a split-ownership model works and where it usually breaks.
- You are strong on Dell Boomi, or on a comparable iPaaS platform and confident you can lead a Boomi build. You understand both API-based and file-based integration patterns.
- You are effective across delivery teams.
- You can hold a room of vendors, architects and source-system owners to a single plan, and you can turn a discovery workshop into an integration design that people can build against.
- You are comfortable owning cost and scope on a build that starts unpriced. You track the number and raise it early.
- You can read a SQL source system and translate extraction needs into a design without waiting to be told how.
Benefits - End-to-end ownership of the integration layer on a large, multi-country NetSuite programme, not a single workstream.
- A central engagement role sitting between the client and the implementation partner, with real influence over how the build runs.
- Architectural ownership. You define the governance and support model the business keeps long after go-live.
- Exposure across finance, health operations and multi-entity integration in one programme.
- Hybrid working, with travel to workshops as required.
Skills and experience - 4+ years leading integrations on ERP or finance system implementations, ideally with iPaaS or middleware platforms, across multi-phase programmes.
- Direct Dell Boomi experience, or a comparable iPaaS platform with the ability to lead a Boomi build.
- Experience managing a split-ownership integration model with an external systems integrator or implementation partner.
- Strong engagement and coordination skills across delivery teams, vendors and source-system owners.
- Working knowledge of API-based and file-based integration patterns.
- Comfortable with legacy databases and translating extraction needs into integration design.
- Vendor management and cost and scope tracking on builds that are scoped as the programme progresses.
- Exposure to patient management or clinical/health systems integrated into finance or ERP platforms (desirable).
- Prior NetSuite integration experience (desirable).
