AWS Cloud Engineer Contract - Daily Rate - Hybrid Working Sydney 
 
About the Role
As AWS Cloud Engineer, you'll take ownership of core AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, using Terraform to provision scalable, secure, and highly available environments. You'll work closely with engineering teams to deliver cloud solutions, support the platform migration, and contribute to security, reliability, and disaster recovery initiatives across the business.
 
This role is 6 month initial contract for an ASX listed business in Sydney with likelihood of extension. 
 
Duties / Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure
• Contribute to the Terraform codebase to provision infrastructure as code
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and deliver cloud solutions
• Participate in security, reliability, and disaster recovery initiatives

Skills and Experience

• Strong hands-on AWS platform and infrastructure experience 
• Experience with AI platform technologies beneficial 
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline development (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic and CloudWatch
• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, ECS, Fargate)
• Genuine interest in building secure, scalable cloud infrastructure
