System Administrator/L3 Engineer - 120-130K + Super - Hybrid Working - Sydney Based

This role involves providing hands-on technical skills across identity, infrastructure, and end user compute in a System Administrator/L3 Engineer capacity. The role spans BAU and project work, with a strong focus on AD, Entra ID, and system-wide integration.

Duties/Key responsibilities

• Own and manage Active Directory and Entra ID, including hybrid identity and integrations
• Lead AD integration initiatives (including HRIS integrations and identity lifecycle management)
• Support and optimise core infrastructure across Windows Server, VMware, and Azure
• Manage end user compute environment across Microsoft 365, Intune, and device management
• Drive automation and operational improvements using PowerShell

Skills and experience

• Strong system administration background across infrastructure and end user compute
• Deep expertise in on-prem Active Directory and Entra ID, including hybrid identity design and support
• Experience integrating AD with business systems (HRIS or similar)
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation capability
• Solid experience across Microsoft 365, Intune, and endpoint management
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, VMware, and Azure environments
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (ideally Fortinet)
• Proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and work across BAU, projects, and occasional Service Desk support
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across technical teams
