As this PE backed global manufacturing company continues to grow from a position of strength they are looking for a Group Financial Controller to report in to the CFO and drive the finance function. 

Working as the caveat between business unit finance teams and the Group CFO this role will play a key role in the consolidation of global numbers to report to the executive team and board. They key duties of the role will include: 

• Overseeing the day to day group accounting functions 
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
• Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
• Managing a team of 6 helping develop and mentor their career development 
• Monitor cash flow, investment activities, and financial risk management
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers
• Work closely with FP&A/Commercial to provide information for budgeting, forecasting and commercial decision making 
• Leading process improvement across the finance function to drive efficiencies and free up more time for value add from finance

This role has been earmarked as a growth opportunity and will provide a great platform for a growing professional to accelerate their career. The ideal candidate will have: 

• CA/CPA Qualification
• Proven ability to improve finance processes and efficiency 
• Great communication skills to work with a broad range of stakeholders
• Big-4 Training is preferred but not essentials
